Made it to Denver safe and sound.

Okay, if you're there all summer I've had some more thoughts:

Definitely hiking/camping in Rocky Mtn. National Park. Take advantage of the beauty where you live!!!

I like going to baseball games (even if the Rockies aren't that great) and you can get nose-bleed tickets for pretty cheap.

The Natural History Museum and Zoo are just cool - even if you don't have kids. But that's just my opinion. I've found that a lot of places don't have those kinds of things available.

Go to Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, it's historic and beautiful.

If you have a long break it'd be neat to make it down to Mesa Verde and the 4-corners area, though that's a little out of your way. And don't touch the mice...some of them still carry the black plague.
But have fun! :)

There's a temple in Denver - other then Fri. nights and Saturdays it's not very busy and patrons are always welcome (hint-hint.)

I've heard the Garden of the Gods is great, though I've never been there myself.

If you have a chance to go 4-wheeling that's a lot of fun - provided you're with someone competent. People do some pretty stupid things too.

The singles wards there are supposed to be great - so have fun.

Yeah, mostly I'd say the out-doorsie stuff. Steam boat springs is a BEAUTIFUL area if you get a chance.

Have fun and keep us posted!
